This book is a compilation of the first 50 years of photography in Colorado, as exposed on glass negatives and later produced in solar prints by exposure to the sun. Beautiful sepia-tone illustrations, with a fantastic amount of detail on each book page. Text and examples include the work of William H. Jackson and others – all outstandingly printed in the 416-page volume. Included are 482 views, many of which are railroad scenes, as well as 11 historic full-color prints.
